What information we collect

Registration Forms

We collect the information you provide to us when applying to join the HelloAI programme, including your e-mail address, name, citizenship, age, gender, educational and employment details and telephone number.

E-mails

When we receive an e-mail to the address displayed on our website, HelloAI collects the e-mail address and any information provided within that e-mail. This could be classed as personal information such as name, telephone number etc. We store the information you provide to us to subscribe to our e-mail notifications and/or newsletters, including your full name, e-mail address, and interests.

Phone

If the contact is made by telephone, then we also process the telephone number that made the phone call and any information provided to the company on that call. Telephone calls are not recorded.

Post

If information is provided to us, in person and by using a form, we shall collect the information highlighted there.

YOUR AUDIO AND VIDEO PRESENCE AT ONLINE EVENTS

We record all online HelloAI courses in order to share materials with those course participants, who could not join and recorded materials may also be used for marketing activities (in social media – Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram and other platforms, and the websites of HelloAI) and for further use in educational activities (on the HelloAI websites, and the learning platforms of the Organizers).

Please mind that by turning on your camera, and providing personal data, image and voice at the live online events (such as your full name in a Zoom call or talking with a keynote speaker) you consent to the use of these materials.

UNTIL WHEN IS YOUR INFORMATION STORED

By the HelloAI Programmes co-financed by EITH, a body of the European Commission (which includes all programmes that ran in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022) participant information is stored to allow European Commission audits, for 2 years after the programme report was accepted by the EITH. We keep your contact information to inform you when we have our next programme or an open event of the HelloAI Community – the HelloAI network and news being a significant value of the programme., but after the obligatory audit period (2-2,5 years post-course) is over, you can request the eras all of your by writing to helloai.professional@ge.com.

SHARING YOUR DATA

Your data can be shared with members of the HelloAI consortium (HVL, GE Healthcare, LEITAT, KTH, UM, COCIR, UNIDEB) and EIT Health (including EIT Health InnoStars and RIS Hubs) and the agencies of the listed, for the purposes of  

  • evaluation of your application (in case you applied for a program co-funded by EIT Health or InnoStars)

  • issuing your certificates and credits

  • reporting and activity monitoring

  • communication and marketing (about HelloAI programmes, and connecting education programs and opportunities).

YOUR RIGHTS

Subject to limitations on certain rights, you have the following rights in relation to your information, which you can exercise by writing to helloai.professional@ge.com.

Your rights include:

  • To request a full copy of our Data Protection Policy;

  • To request access to your Information and Information related to our use and processing of your information;

  • To request the correction or deletion of your information

  • To request that we restrict our use of your information;

  • To receive information that you have previously provided to us in a commonly used format and the right to have that information transferred to another data controller (including 3rd parties);

  • To object to the processing of your data.

To withdraw your consent to our use of your information at any time where we rely on your consent to use and process that information. Please note that at the point of withdrawal, this will not affect the lawful nature to which HelloAI used and processed your data based on the consent provided until that point.

Access to your Information

The General Data Protection Regulation allow any data subject affected by the processing of personal data the right to request at any time information about them and a copy of the personal data stored about their person. This is free of charge and will take a maximum of 30 days to return. 

  • As the data subject, you can request the following:

  • The categories of personal data processed.

  • The purpose of the data processing.

  • The recipients, if any, of the disclosed personal data or data which could be disclosed in the future.

  • The right to request the erasure of personal data

  • The envisaged period of time that the personal data will be stored and the criteria used to determine the timeline.

  • The right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

  • If the personal data was not collected from the data subject, any information as to their source.

  • The significance of consequences through the processing of data.

  • The existence of automatic decision making, including profiling and the meaningful information determining the logic involved. This is referred to in articles 22 (1) and 4 GDPR.

As the data subject, you will also have the right to be informed about whether your data has been transferred to a different organisation or country by law. Any changes will be immediately posted on the website or disclosed to you.

HelloAI reserves the right to change this policy as we may deem necessary from time to time or as required by law. Any changes will be posted on the website and will be updated to you via e-mail.

By providing us with your personal data, including sensitive data such as your health, gender, and race, you consent to collecting and using any information you provide following the above purposes and this privacy policy.
